  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I've read some posts that you cannot play music through bluetooth or streaming music...I have a 2013 3.8 premium and an iPhone 5...I am able to play music via bluetooth...just an FYI...

Vehicles with the tech package cannot stream Bluetooth audio, unless they have corrected that for the 2013 model.

As a recent owner of a 2013 3.6 with tech and premium I can confirm bluetooth audio can be streamed. However unlike the 2009-12 versions, the 2013 tech does not have a 6 changer DVD/CD unit as the changer that now comes with it only has room for one CD or DVD at a time.

However there is a 64gb hard drive to which you can download audio or video files, so that more than makes up for the loss of the 6 CD/DVD changer.

I don't even own any CD's anymore...:D

Absolutely correct; even at 320 bitrate. In my media room ran through Marantz and NHT equipment you can hear a difference, but in the car (even with the Lexicon), not so much.

When I was young I probably could have heard the difference. But, it didn't matter because I had no money to buy any kind of high end equipment. Now, I have the money but my hearing wouldn't notice a difference - sucks getting old.

I have a 2012 tech/prem pkg. Though I can't stream via Bluetooth from my Samsung Galaxy III S, I just plug an audio cable between it and the input in the console and then I can stream Pandora or TuneIn. As I have a 64GB thumb drive full of music, I don't really care about bluetooth streaming. Plus it holds multidiscs of either music or MP3s....

I confirmed with the dealer (and did in fact, use it in my car) that NEW for 2013 is the ability to stream audio over BT. I have done it a few times in my new 3.8 Premium model.

I wonder if it's possible with a software upgrade to the audio/NAV in older models?
