  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I'm making my way around the G80 tweaking things than need attention from the previous owner, and today was the trunk; replaced missing cargo hook anchor screws, tried to fix a burned-out plate light (getting power, module looks bad), reseated the upper liner which was falling in at the seatback. The plastic housing on the trunk lock latch is missing (not a huge deal, but found the part number anyway) and otherwise made sure retainer clips were engaged in the cargo area. Oh, and reclaimed the gas door release handle from where it was trapped behind the trunk liner.

But I noticed the subwoofer was open to the trunk, just a hole cut in the felt. I can't find any info that there's a cover for it; anyone have one? I'm half tempted to enclose it just to see if it gives more oomph.

The subwoofer hole is supposed to be there even though it looks funny
