If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Dear Gen Owner.

not sure if you had this issue. My gen died on me yesterday after mother's day dinner with my family.
Car turned on, but suddenly all the warning lights were showing on dashboard and I couldn't drive. Tried turning off and restart few times.
decided to call Roadside Service to tow my car. Had to call Uber to get back home.:cry::cry:Car is only 53k with 2016 gen ultimate edition.
Currently, it's at local Hyundai dealer, Anyone had the same experience?warning lights.webp

Possibly the trunk wiring harness, shorted wires. That is what it was for me, similar symptom.

Sorry to hear that. If you have time, please keep us updated. Good luck!

I had a similar issue, turns out it was a wheel speed sensor... lost ABS, traction, stability, AWD, BSM and a couple of other things. Driving it to the dealer in an inch of snow was interesting. Without traction and AWD, it was basically driving a 5.0L Mustang with an open rear diff. Rear end was all over the place.

Got my car back and tech said, it's working fine since the day it was dropped off.
All the lights disappeared. That's why he told me to leave an extra day to see if it happens again. He did tell me about the computer history saying "TIMED OUT" for every sensor available and He was Suspecting Battery issue? Battery was replaced last year, according to the tech it was at 50% (strange). Now, I'm worried about it will happen again.

* Warning lights all showed after car ignition was on as you can see on the picture. LDWS, TPMS and all others, not driveable condition.

Thanks for the comments Gen Owners

Maybe it's a CAN bus short/open somewhere or a failing transceiver in one of the electronic modules? Unfortunately, most dealerships probably don't have anyone suitable for troubleshooting this kind of problem.

Here is the same post, another gen owner mentioned. This is the exact problem I'm having.

It happened again today morning, this time I took a video.

Okay, so not all of the warning lights, probably not CAN then...

I started having the PSB warning light to start randomly flashing while driving the car with no one in the passenger seat. I've read that could be a sensor issue related to the fuel pump. I haven't gotten it to the shop yet, and a couple days ago I started getting a lot of dashboard lights and a slow start during the first start of the day. After turning it off and restarting, the lights stop coming on and the car runs fine. This has been consistent for the last 3 days. Called my local Hyundai/Genesis dealership for an appointment, and the next available is 2 weeks out. I'm taking it in the morning and parking in the service bay until somebody checks me in.

I’m reading it’s the fuel pump module causing this?
That is one of several things that can kill CAN bus communication. It does seem to be the issue more often than the other things though.

At that time. dealer couldn't find the issue. I was about to sell my car if it happened again.
Now I'm at 70k, having an issue with oil pressure sensor error which bothers me while I'm driving, I posted last month.

this particular issue is not about fuel pump, maybe it's about steering, but you need to check error codes

This has just recently happen to me, my genesis is a 2016 is has 54000 miles on it, did they ever find a solution to your problem?

NO, I took it to the dealer & they couldn't find the issue because it didn't happen while I took the car. They won't look at the video clip & other proofit is a nice car but, when it comes to maintenance, it will cost you a fortune. Probably between Mercedes & Lexus.
I still drive it without fixing it. I'm at 80k now with an oil sensor light that came up & the dealer quoted me $950. It will happen to your car when the warranty expires between 60k to 70k. If it happens to you before 60k, rush to the dealer & fix it under warranty.
Good luck to you. This is my first & last Hyundai Car. Just hate the dealer's response plus they're all unprofessional to push you to get fix with High $$$,

My car started doing the same thing around August 2023, took it to the shop on September 25, 2023, November they called and said try replacing the battery or it could be the Fuel Pump Controller Module but start with battery first in which I did that on November 21, 2023 and on Saturday, November 25, 2023 all the lights came on again. If anyone have had this problem and they found out what it is, please advise. Thank you

Do a search here for CAN bus. A defective module can disrupt communications throughout the network, resulting in multiple module errors on the dash.

I have the same issue with my 2011 equus,my car been at the dealership for a month and they don’t have any clue why is doing that.if they find the problem I’ll let u know

I have the same or similar issue, I have a Genesis Gv70 2023 and all the lights like the engine, all driving aids, TSC, ABS, and emergency braking all lit up. Happened when I was idling picking up my kid, I took it to Genesis and they said it was my LR wheel sensor, they kept the car for about a month. They said it should be fixed. Then it happened again after 2 weeks of getting it back, it was a little snowy and I turned a corner around 35 to 40 km/h and then it all lit up again. The car only has 2500km on it and I'm disappointed in this GV70. Let me know if there is any other solution. Thanks
