suddenly my car doesn't always recognize my digital key

I have been using my phone as my digital key but recently late October 2025) sometimes I get to the car and it doesn't recognize the phone. It has gotten so bad that I now carry my fob again. Am I the only one or have others suddenly started having this happen.
 
No help here, Adv so no digital key. But when the fingerprint sensor stops working, rebooting the head unit helped. Maybe try that?
 
Mine has been a little flaky recently especially when trying to enter the car. I can press the handle button and it will open or use facial recognition to get it. DK has never been perfect but coming from the Mach-E a couple years ago, it is sooo much better.

I am on Android 16 with a Pixel 6 Pro XL.

Mine also works on and off. Also my fingerprint scanner never really worked over the past 3 years. For 3 years now I have alway carried my key fob. I never wanted to take the chance of ever being locked out of the car or unable to start it. I just want to get into the car, start it and go. For me, the digital key and fingerprint scanner were time consuming and unreliable.

My phone is an IPhone 14 Pro and my car is a GV60 Performance model. My phone had been working perfectly as a digital key for a long time and suddenly started having problems.

I've had to reset the digital key a bunch of times. finally just gave up (been going ever since i bought, 13 mos ago). Thankfully the eye scan and fingerprint work well for me
