  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Been pouring over the posts and narrowed down my tire choice. The local Costco doesn't have access to Bridgestone Turenza Serenity's, the Michelin Pilot MXM4's don't go on sale for 30 days (and I don't want to wait that long), and the local NTB has Sumitomo Touring LSV tires for a great price. Problem is I can't find anything online about them. It is an asymetrical tire with a 70,000 mile tread life which I doubt I'll get. The manager swears they'll be quieter and ride better than the original Dunlops, which isn't exactly setting the bar too high, and they're in stock for immediate installation.

I hate being the guinea pig, and seeing as they stock so many in this size somebody else must have some experience with them. Any input on this brand of tire?

Thanks. I did find that one and it's one of only a couple of positive ones out there. One guy with an Acura didn't like the handling or grip and someone else thought they were noisy--but that's all that 10 pages of google searching turned up. On the tire rack there are a couple of 4.6 owners that had noise problems with a michelin tire I would've considered so any experience of a tire on our Genesis sedans would be the best barometer.
