  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Sun visor for 2Gen

Looks to have a little better coverage around the mirror - but still not perfect if you are going for perfection - also pretty nasty bubbling on it (due to age?). I've been happy with mine - easy to install and keeps the car cooler. I'm not so picky of it being perfect...

That's the first thing I noticed - my $9 box store pos sun shield that I used in my Sonata for 5 years doesn't bubble like that.

Excuse the dirty car but I received my Heatshield today and I must say I'm pretty impressed with it.

is the heatshield flimsy like the cheap store ones or is it thick like the covershield?

i need some thing quick.. it was 104 when i got in the car today... Im considering the star wars version from one of the earlier posts...

I just ordered one of the intratech models, something about the covercraft unit turned me off, gut feeling, nothing specific. owning the starwars unit, i can tell you it doesn't fit well (sure it fits snug and covers all, but you have to manipulate it every time, and honestly, for some folks, that's too much hassle, which is ok too), if you need something quick, the $5 version from the local grocery store is likely equivalent in quality, unless you want Han at the wheel, which is why I got it, but I think it will be relegated to the volvo if the intra really does fit as well as it seems. jm2c, ill post pics of the intra for my 2016 (surely the 2015 model is identical) when I get it

it fits fine, but it certainly not fitted. I have no issue w it and I recommend it cause its cool, but it certainly does not fit like the pics earlier in the thread. 20 bux for nerd stuff, seems legit to me

It's pretty thick...definitely not flimsy like cheap ones in the stores.

me too, according to the usps..... so a week from now. . .

So I got the introtech yesterday, used it for the first time today, holy crap  never used or even seen a sunshade that fits this well, really very impressive, and totally worth the 60 bux. Just ordered one for both my brothers scoobies and my moms 1G. Pics as soon as my phone is charged. An absolute essential for TX and other serious sun states.

thanks for the mini review... I used the Starwars one yesterday and although its kinda flimsy it fit decent and has full coverage across the glass... Due to being overcast yesterday with some rain the car was 68 degrees at 5pm.. Looks like the introtech is next when this one wears out... :D

I wonder, if they changed the design to fit 2G, or they still use the same "old one" on both generations?

Dunno, I will actually post some pics tomorrow tho. I have to say again though, I am very impressed, and the little carry bag is nice too.

I purchased the following heatshield sunshade and I have the same comments as Dareck on his previous sunshade.
https://www.amazon.com/Sunshade-Hea...2&sr=1-2&keywords=heatshield+sunshade+genesis

I paid like $50 for this piece of crap. I don't know how people are raving about this product. Quality is good but the fit is not custom. It leaves about 2 inches gap on one side and I can see light coming through it. Custom fit? My a$$

I saw another member in this forum raving about it. Not sure if he saw the gap or not or that he does not mind it.
