So I'm trying to figure out if this is an issue, or just another weird quirk with a new platform car. I've had 4 cars with sunroofs now, a 96 Audi A6, a 2009 Sonata Limited, a 2011 Sonata Limited, and my 2015 Genesis Ultimate AWD. In every car but the genesis, I could VENT the sunroof while it was raining (it never mattered how hard it was raining), and as long as the car had some forward motion, water wasn't an issue. This weekend, I'm running errands in the rain, and I've got the sunroof vented again. After about 10 minutes, I notice water near the a-pillar seams inside the car. I've attached pictures. I'm inclined to think this means that a vent tube for the sunroof is clogged somewhere, but upon reviewing a parts list for the sunroof assembly, I don't see anything about a drain?!?! So a few questions:
Thanks,

- Is this behavior abnormal? Should I be able to vent the sunroof while it's raining?
- Does the sunroof have drainage tubing, and if so, where is it located?
- Do I need to have the dealer look at this while I'm still under warranty?
Thanks,
