  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Genesis Model Type
Equus (2011-2016)
Looking into replacing the air ride suspension with straight coilovers. I see a lot of figments for the genesis, but only a few that claim they fit the Equus. I know they're very similar, but I'm wondering if anyone has done this/attempted to?

You should add what year you are trying to do it for?

2011, but that doesn't narrow down anything....

The opposite in fact. All coilover kits I've found for the Equus have a broad year span (00-12). The ones I've had my eye on say they fit 2000 and up, although no mention of whether you need to mess with the air ride sensors or need to have an override module installed as well so the car thinks everything's gravy with the ride height.
