  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey all,

I have noticed some swirls on the black trim on the windows and the roof.

Has anyone else seen this happening on their cars? Does anyone know what can be used to remove the swirls?

Thanks

It’s so funny you posted this because I just noticed swirls on mine as well. Hard to see but if the sun hits it just right it’s hard to unsee

Definitely hard to unsee. It looks so ugly and I really wanna figure out how to get it out without replacing them

Same, should be an easy polish but I don’t want to damage it. Hopefully someone has advice because I know nothing about plastics

Do a paint correction job and ceramic coating with any professional certified detailer(ADA). Every car has minor paint imperfections, especially after dealer handling(dirty wash rags, water, etc) I guarantee after the detailing it will look like a mirror with no swirl marks, especially black paint. hope this helps.
