Switch off Audio with Ignition?

Is there an option hiding in the settings somewhere to silence whatever audio is playing when you turn off the ignition? Please point it out if it exists.

Once you open the door, it will turn off the audio. But ya i hope there is an option to turn that off.

Went through the manual and DIS manual and only found the "Press Power" button (volume control) to turn off the unit. I could not locate any setting to have it programmed to shut off when you hit the ignition button.

I haven't tried it but what happens when shutting off the engine if you push the start button twice? If listening to the sound system with the engine off it will time out after several minutes. To restart the audio system and window switches you must push the start button (with your foot off the brake or you'll start the engine) to reactivate. Maybe it works for an audio OFF with a two button push at shut down?

Interesting. On my 2014 if I turn off the ignition the audio system goes off immediately. Even if I am on a phone call. It is very annoying to me that it shuts off. Wish mine was like the 2015 and stayed on so I could finish my call at least.
