I've got a 2015 model and just ordered an dual cold air intake for it from g4werkz.com. I was just wondering if anyone has ever installed one before or is willing to post a review of it.

I got mine on the Black Friday deal and it was well worth, fairly simple install too...took me about thirty minutes. You hear the intake the most between 2 and 4000 RPM,it’s a noticeable growl but not obnoxious. Your gas mileage is definitely about to decrease

They discontinued them. My order actually got cancelled on Black Friday but Freddy from G4Werkz was able to make it happen for me. I think he may take over the production of in the future.

Hell, your horsepower may decrease as well due to heat soak from the black painted metal piping with exposed air filters pulling in hot engine bay air. The set looks good, but does not appear to be a performance enhancing product based on the overall design.

My opinion is that the main benefits is a cooler "looking" engine bay and more intake noise. You will most likely lose horsepower due to heat soak from the exposed air filters sitting in the engine bay and the black painted metal intake piping. Both the color black and metal conducts and holds heat energy while the air filters will just pull in heated air near the engine; which is not what you want your intake system to do if your looking to gain engine power.

Nice concept, but the system need cold air boxes to hold the air filters to insulate them from the engine bay heat and use reflective metal paint or better yet use plastic for the intake piping like factory if black is the main color choice; which would be better than metal in my opinion if performance gain is the goal.
