The whole spinning the rear wheels while the car in the air is not a guaranteed way to check. Depending on whether you had the car in gear or not and what kind of lsd it is will depend on whether both wheels will spin the same direction. Helical lsd will spin the wheel the opposite way if the car is left in gear also.

Best way open it up and look at it.

On mine I had my car on jack stands and put the gear selector in N.
I believe your correct on the way Helical LSD works (I don't have enough experience with the different methods of LSD to confirm or deny that)

But I am very sure of how LSD feels on the street, and with the excess tire spin of the open diff. As I said I spun the car in a 360 degree with both ecs off on the dash and with true traction control off mod done. when esc off was lit up the car behaved like a LSD but not when tsc was truly off.

Yeah I will agree on how my Rspec feels the same. I think it's system is like my tundra, uses the brakes to slow the wheel spinning and put the power to the other wheel. The tundra even says AUTO LSD on the dash when you hit the button but it's not as I have seen them out.
