  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have a 2019 G70 Prestige 2.0T. When I park, lock and leave car in bright sun/very hot day, the drivers side door handle button will not unlock. The lock activated side mirror fold does not function ( fold back outward. Also, car won’t start with brake pressed and start button pushed. I have to use fob button to unlock drivers door or just use passenger side door handle button to unlock/entry….but car will still not start normally and requires the “apply brake and push start button with fob method”. I know this would indicate a possible low key fob battery condition but both fobs have been used and batteries in both replaced twice. I was told that the critical sensor that controls door handle lock button, mirror fold/unfold and start is controlled by the sensor located in roof area above headliner and above visor on drivers side. Has anyone ever experienced this scenario? Is this covered under any type of warranty (car has less than 31,000 miles!
What is the name of this controlling sensor? Real expensive item to replace???? I can’t figure this out! Totally weird problem…
