  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

2015 Hyundai Genesis 3.8L sedan. I have a chirping noise that occurs when I control the temperature. I also periodically chirps when not adjusting the temperature; maybe a temperature sensor relay?? I have seen various forums with people that have a chirping noise and can’t figure out where it is coming from. Maybe this is your issue? Anyone else notice this? Any ideas on what to do about it, other than pay a dealer thousands of dollars to have them not fix it?

If the chirp is coming from directly next to the temperature knob, it's likely the air quality sensor fan mounted in the dash trim.

Other possibilities include stripped servos, stuck doors or you have a nest of birds inside your AC.

My does the same, a helicopter propeller sound coming from the front of the dash board area around 35-40 mph
