  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Just got my g70 twin turbo and I love it. But the lack of a termperature gauge is irritating.
Has anyone added one and if so, which brand and model? Thanks.

Im not sure what you mean. Mine has both a coolant and oil temp gauge. They don't show an exact number but they work well to show how much and how fast they come up to “normal” temp.

I do not have those gauges in my cluster. Are they some type of hidden screen that I have to find?
I have the 3.3T Sport Prestige .

Temperature gauge for what?!

Just about every car - including the G70 - has the engine coolant temp gauge on the dash. Judging by your complaint, that isn't what you are looking for. There are a multitude of temps monitored by the ECU. So what exactly are you wanting to check? Engine oil temp? Exhaust Gas Temp (EGT)? Intake Air Temp (IAT)? Transmission fluid temp?

Realistically, for everyday driving, as long as your coolant temp is rock steady in normal range, none of these other temps are likely to go way out of whack. If you live in a very warm southern region, and you're stuck in crawling traffic, maybe you might be curious about the IAT.

Get a cheap OBD2 bluetooth adapter and set up an OBD2 app on your phone to monitor any of these parameters, if you are so inclined. That's what I do at the track. For everyday driving though, I rarely bother.

As you scroll through the different options and pages in the center of the cluster, there's one that had engine coolant temp, and another that has oil temp, torque, and boost gauges. Using the right scroll wheel on the steering wheel.
