  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

About twice a week my radar fail warning comes on for about 2 to 3 minutes and then goes off on its own. It consists of three letters which I do not recall at this time. We're talking about a 2015 G80 I bought used two years ago

Sometimes this is in rain, but usually not. It sometimes relates to fog or just polluted Los Angeles air, but often goes off when the air seems pretty clear and I can see distance fairly well. It doesn't seem to happen in crystal-clear conditions

Is this normal? Why does it happen if the air seems pretty clear?

Semi-normal. Heavy rain, snow, or anything that blocks the signal will turn it off. Never had it happen in clear weather. Even a modest amount of winter dirt did not seem to bother it.

I live in LA and never have this problem so I would say NO your experience is not normal.
