Back on August 23rd I ordered the carbon fiber spoiler for my Genesis Sedan. I chose Importshark since they are the cheapest place to order the spoiler that I found and didn't mind waiting the expected 4-6 weeks for my product. Following I will break down my communications with importshark from my order date until today.
ME: Sept. 3rd (I was curious to what I could expect for shipping since the website is vague, the email was sent to the general isstore@importshark.com address) Subject: Order Shipping Information
"Is there or will there be any available shipping information on order number xxxxxx."
IMPORTSHARK POSTAL SERVICE: Sept. 3rd
"Thank you for your email.
Your email " Order Shipping Information " has been received and will be forwarded to the proper person(s). Please allow up to 24 hours for a reply.
Thank You Again,
Importshark Postmaster"
IMPORTSHARK: Sept. 4th
"Yes, in about 2-3 weeks when the shipment departs. We just got some carbon parts in this past weekend and there may be a BBM spoiler in there, but it's likely those will be in the next inventory that comes in.
Thank you"
(I was glad to see this fast response and that would put delivery right on the 4 week timeline, this email also came directly from the sales@importshark.com address )
(6 weeks later, twice the time they estimated me in their email response. /i responded to the sales email I had received from before)
ME: Oct 16th
"I was wondering if there is an expected shipping date for order number xxxxxxx, one carbon spoiler for a 2009 Genesis, placed on August 23rd. I received an email on Sept. 4th stating I can expect shipping information in about 2-3 weeks, and have not heard or received anything thus far."
IMPORTSHARK: Oct 16th
"Yes, the spoilers did come in finally. Yours will be on the way this week.
Thank you"
(Again glad to see the quick response and that my order was being taken care of)
(My package was received on Oct. 24th while my genny was in the body shop from being rear ended the week before, but I opened anyway to tempt myself and was satisfied with the finish and look since those were the concerns I had seen voiced on the forum previously.)
(I received my car back from the body shop on November 1st and immediately tried fitting the spoiler to it. It doesn't fit, not even close enough to argue a poor mold, clearly for a different vehicle!)
(Still linked to my email conversation that has always had quick responses)
ME: Nov 1st
"I have received a carbon fiber spoiler last week and was finally able to try to fit it to my 2009 Genesis Sedan today. It does not fit the trunk lid of my car and based upon pictures on your website it appears you have sent me a carbon fiber spoiler for the genesis coupe not my sedan. My order number is xxxxxx. Could check your records and find a way for me to exchange this product for the correct one.
Thanks,
John"

(I decided that I should be more direct with my subject so I sent a new email to sales@importshark.com titled "WRONG PRODUCT RECEIVED")

"Once again, I received the wrong product from my order placed back on August 23rd. The order number is xxxxxx. My PayPal receipt clearly states that I had ordered a Carbon Fiber Spoiler for a 2009+Genesis SEDAN. This is the third email I have sent regarding this issue and over a week since the first email was sent with no response or consideration. I will be forced to file a complaint with the PayPal service, since the item I ordered has not been received, if this email is not responded to in a timely manor.
As I am not responsible for the issue at hand, since I ordered the correct product and then was sent an incorrect item, I expect to be re-reimbursed for any costs to ship back the product I have and that the correct item my vehicle will be sent quickly.
I hope to hear back from you quickly with a resolution on hand.
Oder number xxxxxx: Carbon Fiber Spoiler for 2009+ Genesis Sedan
the Product sent does not fit and appears to be a BBM carbon fiber spoiler for the genesis coupe."
(Decided it may be better to direct my email back to the central email address isstore@importshark.com so I directed my next email there)

"I have received a carbon fiber spoiler two weeks back and it does not fit my 2009 Genesis Sedan. I have sent a two emails over the past week to the sales@importshark.com address and a third last night with no reply. My import shark receipt clearly shows that I did order the Carbon Fiber Spoiler for a 2009+ Genesis SEDAN.

(Getting Very Frustrated)

"Hello again,
This has so far been a terrible transaction process. After waiting much longer for my product than I was told to expect for delivery, the wrong product was delivered. I have sent numerous emails concerning this issue with my order with no response or consideration for your customers. My order number is xxxxxx and I ordered a carbon fiber spoiler for my 2009 Genesis SEDAN and seem to have received one fit for a coupe. I expect reimbursement for shipping if I have to return the product I have, and that I either receive a full refund for my purchase or the correct product is sent as soon as possible."

"Hello, I have sent many emails regarding this issue with no response over the past two months. I was sent the wrong spoiler for my order. I was sent what appears to be a BBM spoiler for a Genesis Coupe when I own and specifically ordered a carbon fiber spoiler for the genesis sedan. I still need this to be fixed so that I can return the incorrect item and have the correct one for my order sent to me. I would really appreciate a response and a solution to this long dragged out issue."
So, if you somehow read all of those emails, I know I jumped around a lot and I can't spell sometimes, but that's the breakdown of my transaction so far. I also know some of my approaches weren't the best, but when you know your emails are just being ignored you tend not to be as nice.
