  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

A small portion from the article.

"Hyundai’s new Genesis luxury brand is kicking off sales in the U.S. next month, when the mid-size G80 sedan hits dealerships. Of course, the 2017 Genesis G80 is really just a Hyundai Genesis without the Hyundai “H” badges, but Genesis is surely hoping that customers won’t notice that they’re getting essentially the same car for a starting price of $42,350—$2650 more than when it was a Hyundai. Luckily, that higher price does include plenty of newly standard equipment that previously was optional."

It seems since they are doing away with the "Signature Package" and taking features away from the "Tech Package" and making them standard, they are offering a "Premium Package"(which seems to offer all the goodies from the signature), and the "Ultimate Package".

For me, this is disappointing. I really want one of these cars. Specifically the current Genesis with the signature package. But I don't think I can get one from Hyundai before they become the more expensive G80.

Somewhat misleading article title - the new price includes now standard features that would have made it a $47,100 car in previous year. So its really cheaper in a way.

it comes with SOME of the features available with the current tech package that would end up costing 47,100. But not all of the features. Plus, if you spent the 47,100 that would include the signature package. Which you get none of the features available in the signature package.
