The Battery Died in my Genesis GV80

Just had this exact thing happen on my 2021 GV80 3.5 Advanced (the CCP not entering sleep mode) which presented as a parasitc drain and wiped my battery DEAD while I was away for a week. Was a bugger to get jumped (They had to hook up 2 booster packs, 1 in to front terminals and 1 to the battery in the trunk and the car STILL wasnt happy about starting)

Battery wasnt covered obviously but seeing as it was 5 years old and I live in a very cold climate, I was going to be due for one soon so no problem there. Everything else was covered under warranty.

Fix was similar to the above, install latest software update. Wondering how long this issue was going on for as I didnt let the car for more than a day for the past year so the battery never had a chance to completely discharge.

EDIT: The Canadian version of Genesis Connected Services website doesnt show us the battery level for some reason... I wonder if that is locked to the VIN or if I will see the battery level if I VPN from the US... will test later tonight

The Canadian app will not show the battery charge even when the vehicle is in the U.S. (at least as of last winter after which I decided that I would not contribute to Trump's economy in future). My GV80 is resting inside in Ottawa this winter while I spend my money in New Zealand.
