  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Just wanted to give you all a "heads up". While washing my car this morning I noticed one of the black inserts in the lower portion of the bumper by the license frame is bubbling and peeling.

Those are there for the cruise control. I called my dealership and they have to order the part. Keep your eyes on yours periodically just in case it happens to you.

2012 4.6.

Picture please.

Sorry. Not trying to be rude but you can believe me or not. I'm not going to take time from too much work and too little leisure time to run out, take a picture of the insert with bubbles, and upload it.

Did someone paint yours? The ones on my car appear to be black plastic.

hos, I thought the same. It's an illusion. It's gray plastic with a black saran wrap type overlay. Bet the reflectiveness and the material is part of what makes the adaptive cruise control work.

I only pointed this out because if I didn't wash my own car, I'd probably never noticed it. The dealer said it is something to be a little carefull with (if there are bubbles) when using cc. .

Not that I don't believe you, just want to see what you are referring to...

I've called 4 different LA Hyundai dealers.....not one has a loaner program and 2 expect me to pay for the rental car.

At 40k plus I guess I would expect a little bit of icing on my cake. Now before you fanboys jump all over me...I like the car...but do I think that it's that much better of a car and value than an Acura or Infinity at this price point?

There's alot to be said for a dedicated luxury division.

Have you tried Allen Hyundai which serves Orange County?

No. Are you familiar with them? Orange county is a considerable distance away but would be worth it for good service.
