  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

The following link will take you to the mother load of Genesis documentation, including the 373 page owners manual (8.7MB), all the shop manuals (see index below), Tech Service Bulletins (TSBs), Digital Error Codes and more. Rather than violate their user agreement and put stuff here, I'll just send you there. Registration is easy: username, first name, last name, hyundai you own, email address and zip code. They send your password back via email in about two minutes. ENJOY:D

This sounds like great information. However, since I don't own a Hyundai - I suppose I'm not entitled to it.. Oh well.. Thank you for posting the link, however! I'm sure Genesis owners will be really happy to have this sort of information (which they're apparently entitled to).

The link provided is to a public sight, found on Google. They do ask you to register, and they do ask which Hyundai/s you own. But there is no checking a VIN or anything. If you want to own a Genesis, but do some checking on it first, this is the place. The fact that the dealers have none of this info is not your fault. If Hyundai meant for you not to have/see it, they would have protected it. So just enjoy, it's very illuminating.:)

Could you PM me a link to the actual PDF? I can't get past the agreement (I'm on a Mac) - it just won't open no matter what I do...

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I Had the same problem... I will have to try from a PC at the office later!

Not sure why this is causing problems, but I had to do it twice as well. It's a bit cryptic. At the bottom of the registration page there is a link to the 'usage agreement.' You have to click on that link, then scroll down through the entire agreement, and at the bottom there is a check box that indicates you agree with it. You have to put a check in there, and click on close, then the "Submit" button will work correctly. If there is no check, when you hit submit, it scrolls back to the top of the page a displays an error message, in red text, about you not doing the agreement correctly.

BaywayRic,
The problem is with the Internet browser and (I think) Active-X or Java compatibility. Using Mac Safari or Firefox on a PC the site registration process will not work. The pop-up window for license terms is blank.

When you use Microsoft Internet Explorer on a PC, then it will work just fine (and I can possibly go back to my preferred browser)

You have to register using Microsoft Internet Explorer, also the website is optimized for IE. The Active-X / Java (?) controls do not work with Mac Safari or PC Firefox browsers.

The Driver Information System manual is 282 pages!

Many thanks - now I can read the entire manual and memorize it and educate the sales people!

Then I will know all the features of the car - because after buying the car - who has time to read the manual?
