  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Sorry for the crappy mobile phone photo, but I caught this in the parking garage the other day. It struck me how these cars basically were designed with the exact same mission in life, ~30 years apart.

1. Disrupt the market
2. Offer a competent, fast, luxurious 4-door premium sedan at a competitive price

Hard to tell what this is. Acura Legend?

Yes, that's the original Acura Legend Sedan.

Yep, it is an Acura Legend. I worked at a Texas Acura dealership when the Acura first came out. The Legend was a great car, the Integra of the period was also a good car. We had problems keeping service personnel, the mechanics did not have much to do. Oil and filter changes were about the only thing that kept them busy. The Integras were shipped without the A/C installed. The factory A/C units were delivered to the dealership with the VIN posted on the box to corresponding vehicle, which would arrive about two weeks later. The techs used to argue over who was going to install the units, since they were paid by the job, not by salary (we did have to pay minimum wage if their jobs did not total enough). I suppose the Genesis is playing in the field that Acura once occupied. However, I think Genesis tech will not have to worry about making just minimum wage.

Its funny how we all do the same thing. I try to find the corner spots so i can park away from the vehicle that will be parking next to me. The times that i don't do that i find a new dent on my car.

Lol yeah I get to work so early that I can choose any spot I want, and I always park in the same spot. When I can't choose, I'll park as far away as I need to in order to get a decent parking spot. I hate door-dingers.
