Diamond Bar has a Genesis V6 in black. It's got 17" wheels so it's one of the more basic models, but it definitely has had the whole KDM badging thing done to it.

Driver is a middle-aged white female with elementary school-age kids. The kids attend Quail Summit Elementary School, which is where I see this car the most often.

There is also a Hyundai/Kia vehicle tester who lives near me in Diamond Bar, and whenever I drive around, I often end up seeing Hyundai/Kia vehicles before they go on sale in the US market. Diamond Bar hosted two Genesises - one with "Genesis" logo on the left side of the trunk lid (like KDM), and a second one with the alternative "H" grille on front (it's around even now from time to time). I've also seen the tester (it's the same person, I know where s/he lives) drive the Veracruz before its US introduction, as well as the Kia Borrego, the Kia Soul, and a KDM Sonata.

Diamond Bar is a popular home for South Koreans on US corporate assignments (one of whom might as well be this tester), as well as for Korean-Americans. The only Korean-American to serve in US Congress, in fact, hailed from Diamond Bar.

Yes i noticed there is a big Korean pop. in Diamond bar I alwalys see that market behind Bob Big boys packed with ppl.. any good Kimchi (did i spell that right?) spots or restaurants around the are or in o.c..??

Went to the Tokyo Table tonight at the new Asian mini-mall at Jamboree and Alton in Irvine - spotted at silver Genesis driven by (surprise) an Asian dude.

I've also seen a few others sporadically on my daily commute from Tustin to Newport on Jamboree. We're seriously outnumbered by Mercs, Beemers an Lexi in this neck of the SoCal woods - but isn't it nice to be different?

I came out of Saks Fifth Avenue at South Coast Plaza yesterday and what was parked next to my Genesis? A silver V8 with tinted windows. Serious double take moment! We both have the NACOTY license plate fames. Are you on this forum?

Also saw a nice cabernet V6 on Jamboree on Friday.

Came out of a restaurant at the Diamond Jubilee plaza and found a black/black V8 Tech parked next to me. CA plate starting "6G" - still had the flying H badges on. Anyone here claim it? Wish I'd had my camera...

Let's revive this thread...spotted an empire gray 2015 Genesis on 7/20 making a left onto Inglewood Blvd around 5:30 pm.
