  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

So as much as I want this, after translating the page he linked it appears the cost of the module is approx. 13,000 won, which is about $11.50 USD with shipping maybe $25.

I think it's a typo, unless he's building them himself and that's the components cost (likely). Finished PCBs like that usually fetch an additional premium when they sell them.

Maybe but the Guy writing up the DIY says he paid 13,000 Won, Translation done by both google and my sister-in-law.

that what I thought but it is impossible, because he said the 2 connectors cost 5,000 won each.
but carry on, and share your experience at the end so everybody will be better informed.

as I said in PM, there doesn't appear to be any way to contact him via that page, in Korean or English.. and he has replies to the post locked so you can't ask either.

Those socket style connectors might be 5000 won for 1, but only 10000 won for 20. They're an item which is commonly sold in bulk and not individually.

As I said. The poster of that DIY specifically points out the MODULE is 13,000 won. And the connectors were 5000 won.

for the sake of argument lets say it is a typo and it should be 130,000 won, that is still only $115 not $300 like poster of this thread is claiming.

I asked for info from him in PM so I can contact the seller and he points to the DIY. Which as i further stated here and in PM has no way of contacting the DIY poster.

In PM he is being deliberately obtuse circling back to the website to contact the DIYer and buy directly from him, knowing full well there is no way of contacting him directly. All he claims is he “contacted him through a friend”.

Then xx979xx gets offended that myself and others are accusing him of scamming and trying to rip off the members here but offers no information on how to obtain these modules except through him at his price when the site above clearly indicates the cost of the module is $11.50 USD. Not $300 USD.

If he wants to be taken seriously he would post up real information on how to contact this Korean DIYer not be obtuse, vague, and ambiguous about the specific contact and pricing information.

I hope others could help you( sure somebody can), and I will help anybody except those bully.

no one is being a bully, your first post on this forum was to sell something without vendor status and you are trying to make a rather large profit on something you refuse to give any information on, you're mad because you got called out for your B.S. and no one is willing to give you any money.
