I used older washer fluid and there was something in it that clogged the system. The pump is running but nothing comes out but a few drops.

I have not yet looked, but how hard is it to get to the pump, take out the tank and flash it?

Unlikely a clog. Most likely a washer fluid line disconnected or chewed by rodents. Put a bunch of water in the washer fluid reservoir and see if a bunch leaks to the ground. The reservoir can hold about 2 gallons. Operate the sprayer for an extended period of time and see if there is excessive water on the ground. You will be checking behind the front passenger wheel. Do not do this with the AC on as it empties excess water in a similar location.

no, this is definitely a clogged pump or lines. any diagram or video of where all of these components are located?

The only instance where the windshield washer line was clogged in a car I owned was when I put in some fancy bug cleaning washer fluid that was apparently incompatible with other fluid I had put in. Made a gooey mess. I had to remove all the affected lines and flow them out with compressed air. Also had to remove the washer fluid pump itself and clean that out. Wasn't difficult but rather tedious work.

moisha,

I had the exact problem with my 2018 G80. I also put some OLD washer fluid in and a few days or weeks later the system was clogged and just a little bit would come out.
The fix: I flushed the tank out with a garden hose until only clear and clean water came out. Next I siphoned all the water out of the tank. Then put 1 gallon of Splash Original Blue washer fluid in the tank (no water) . Still didn't work. Every day after this I would try it. After a few days the washer worked great. Still works.
I don't know where you are but I got the Splash at a local Advance Auto in sunny North Carolina.

The blockage should be in the smallest part of the system, which is the nozzle. Therefore, after sucking the fluid out of the tank and putting new one, I'd try blowing thru both nozzles with an air compressor and a rubber adapter (to blow air), and maybe 20 psi to begin with. That should dislodge blockage IMO. Good luck.
