  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I presently have a 2021 Ford Mach E but going to look at a 2025 GV60 in a couple of days. Doing some research before I trade. I really like the looks/performance of the GV60.

You don't give us any meaningful information regarding your needs and desires. What version of the Mach-e do you have? What version of the GV60 are you considering? What are your goals.

The GV60 is a bit of a unicorn so your needs and desires are critical.

Presently have a 2021 Mach E Premium AWD extended range. Looking at 2025 Genesis EV60 AWD Advantage.

I'd keep the Mach.

I don't know which power plant you have and I am assuming you meant "Advanced" (I am not aware of a model called Advantage). If you have the more powerful motor option, then the two should be fairly similar in power and speed. The Genesis will likely be a little more luxurious.

Again...I don't know your goals. Are you looking to get a new EV and thinking the GV60 Advanced is your best option? Why? More power? More Torque? More luxury? Longer range? Smaller size? New and longer warranty? Other options you are considering?

I am not trying to give you a hard time. It is just that without that information, all you will get are our views which may be coming from a different set of goals and whose comparison base might be very different.

There are many options out there: Kia EV6; Hyundai Ionic 5; Polestar 3; Genesis Electrified GV70; Lucid Air Pure; Etc. Even, at the pricier end, the new Electrified Porsche Macan. But whether they make more or less sense to you depends upon what you are seeking. If the Macan came at the price of the Ionic 5 we would all be Porsche customers and if the Ionic 5 came with the properties of the Macan, we would all be Hyundai customers. But, alas, no one car can do everything.

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. I'm glad you found us! You've come to the right place to research and learn all you can about the Genesis GV60. Keep us posted and let us know if you move forward into Genesis ownership. :)

I think his message was just basically saying, "Hey, I'm not a Genesis owner but I'm thinking of becoming one and came here to learn"...
