  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Been thinking long and hard about selling my 2015 Genesis. It's a 3.8 AWD with every available option package. I've had it for 32 months and it has been driven a low 13k. Almost half of that mileage came from two trips to New York state (from Michigan). It is in mint condition, always garage kept and usually under a car cover. Never driven in the snow, which means it is parked in storage from late October until early April. Probably 80% of the mileage is highway mileage. It is as close to new as you can find, without a blemish. So, why would I sell it? First off, it is 1 of 4 vehicles my wife and I own. My wife has a Santa Fe, I have a Titan truck and we have a Jeep Wrangler. Each serve a particular purpose in our lives. We are always doing outdoor things (camping/fishing/boating/hiking, etc.) and find ourselves using the Genesis less and less. We haven't been able to travel in the past six months, which is what we bought the car for. So, day after day, it sits and soon it will be in storage again. Well, just when I convinced myself that I was going to sell and even began to wash and prep it for photos to post on Ebay or AutoTrader, I decided to take a long ride and really put the car through its paces. I set off in no particular direction and soon found myself on some rural roads with no traffic (a lot of rural areas here). I really concentrated on the all the finer aspects of the car and even dropped it into sport mode a few times and did a little zigging and zagging. 170 miles later, I made it back home with an entirely new attitude, or should I say entirely renewed attitude about this car. This is one fine, sporty and luxurious car. The quietness of the interior, the handling and ride were something I kind of forgot about. I cannot believe there is a better car on the market right now in this class of cars. Came home and told the wife, I'm keeping it.

Good choice. It does things your other vehicles don't.

i was at the dealership getting service when i looked at the latest model year version of the Genesis...my 2015 3.8 Ultimate still stacks up pretty well against it and am in no hurry to upgrade.
