  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Thoughts on G70 'Superbowl Special' cars?

I live in the ATL area and have seen quite a few used G70 'Superbowl Special' cars, most with low mileage. Does anyone have any thoughts/concerns about purchasing one of these cars? Possible good deal or stay away from?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts/input!

My dad bought a G80 3.3T Sport about a month ago that was a "Superbowl Special". Paid $50,500 though the car had about 850 miles on it. Came with balance of 5/60 and 10/100 warranties.

I've been looking at some of the G70's myself, but the deals on them don't actually seem to be quite as good (at least for the 3.3T Sports). I feel like if you were patient you could probably negotiate a deal on a new one for about the same as some of the used ones.
