  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Tinted Rear Window problem

wait until it starts bubbling up between the heat elements

Im late but a STEAMER should help.
My rear film is finally bubbling and I will be removing it soon. It has been on for 10 year almost now.
The heat here in the CAROLINAS does numbers on some film and there is no telling.

Good luck guys.

Since we're on the subject, we are the second owner of our 2015 AWD and since day one the rear tint on the car has annoyed me. From the outside it looks perfect. But when you are in the car and look out the rear window everything you see behind you is blurry. Like if you wore glasses and took them off. There are no bubbles or defects. It's just that the tint makes everything blurry. Side windows look fine.

I would get it replaced but I fear the rear defrost wires will get damaged upon removal.

I have the same problem on my rear glass everything is blurry and especially hard to see out of at night
