  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Tips on buying leftover 2013 or new2014

I have been watching this car for a while and they have reduced the price from 21300 to 19400. Should I ask 18500 or something. What would be fair price to ask. Going to the dealer tomorrow morning
2011, V8 Genesis with 39K miles not a CPO Internet price $19400
Look up the wholesale (or trade-in) price on one of the websites that provides that info, and add about $300. That should be the price you start with. The max you pay should be $500 over your starting price.

One tip I will give:

Look carefully at the colors of the vehicle. In the middle or late 2013, Hyundai discontinued using the "Satin White Pearl" and went to "Casablanca White" on the Genesis sedan. Also, they stop using "Black Noir Pearl" and went to "Caspian Black". The differences are slight, but noticeable up close. Be sure to verify the paint colors carefully.
