  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Just a heads up, if you have the 21 inch, 40 series tires, make sure you check the tire pressure. My previous vehicle had 65 series tires; a 10-degree temperature change would change the tire pressure by about 1 psi. These 40 series tires seem to change about 3 psi with a 10-degree temperature change.

The 19s might be worse. I've seen at 5+ PSI difference...of course that's with about a 30 degree (Celsius) temperature change.

The first serious cold snap here, set off my tire warning system. It showed a picture of the car with the low tire blinking so I knew exactly which tire was low and while I was at it, I checked the rest and corrected all to the exact psi recommend.

Had to go driving for a short spell to get the warning to shut off, which is normal.

I also left the tire pressure page showing it sure does take a while to heat up the tires when it’s cold. Be careful when you’re driving because that rubber is hard as a rock and it does not grip for aggressive turns or entering on/off ramps etc.. Make sure your tires are up to temp before playing aggressively.
