  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I just dropped my 2015 genesis 3.8 awd for tire recall 21,550 miles. My concern is that driver rear tire i had to get it replaced within the first month igot the car because i had a puncture and my sidealls were cracked so o couldnt get thr puncture fixed. You guys think dealer will still replace all 4 tires? Service manager said he will see what he can do...

I think your second sentence is unintelligible.

The tires were recalled, all have to be replaced.

Here is the update. Got the car after 3 days layter. Dealer set me up with enterprise rental. Only got three tires replaced. Looks like they flashed my ecu

If you replaced the bad tire with the same brand and size your dealer should have replaced all 4 AT NO CHARGE
Sounds like a bad dealership not taking care of their customer

Or at least the option to replace at a discounted price.

Yes but was on road trip and nearest tire place did not have that same tire so I had to get something quick...
even called hyundai consumer and they would not do anything about it. even though that tire I replaced was cause of campaign 138 which is side wall cracking...

There is still a lot of unknown information here; when did this occur? did Dudmleh call Hyundai customer service or a dealer?

The recall was a safety recall by the tire maker; not Hyundai. No car makers warranty tires; that is the responsibility of the tire company. Hyundai was only a facilitator in the recall (as opposed to the earlier voluntary exchange). If the dealer or even a Hancook retailer does not have the recalled tire to turn in to Hancook, it will not be reimbursed for the cost.

The situation was unfortunate but Dudmleh could have contacted Hancook for assistance or kept the bad tire to turn in. I don't see that the dealer did any thing wrong.

I would appeal this. If I understand, your original failure was due to sidewall cracking, but prior to the recall. The problem may be not having the info on the replaced tire.
Get the info on your replaced tires and the records from your original replacement, and try contacting Hankook. Explain that you never should have paid for the first tire.
It's worth a shot.
