Tire size question

Hey guys,
So on my 5.0, the tires as we know are staggered 245/275 at 40/35 heights. I'm finding that those small side walls, make the ride a little to hard for this type of car/and for me. The dealer was nice enough to let me try a set of g90 rims that have the same width, but 45/40 sidewall and the ride difference was amazing. So now I'm considering changingy tires to that size set up. Has anyone tried this, was there any adverse effects over time, was the ride quality for you improved? Thanks

1010 Tires has a tire size calculator (245-40R19 vs 235-45R19 - Tire and Wheel Plus Sizing | Tire Size Calculator) that will show you the speed variance and how much effect it will have on the speedometer.

Discount Tire's Tire Fitment Guide (https://www.discounttire.com/#/fitment/results/0/tires) suggests several choices in size. 265/40R19 appears for the back.

I'd consider a tire with a softer compound, such as a Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 or Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus.
