  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hello everyone! I'm new to the forum and have not purchased my vehicle yet. But I was wondering if anyone has replaced their 3.8l wheels with the 5.0l ones?
Thanks!!

I'm looking at getting a 2016 AWD 3.8l

Aren't the 5.0 wheels and tires larger in back than the front? That means you cannot rotate tires front to back, so they will wear a lot more quickly. Some owners have complained about that.

You might want to consider just getting 4 of the front wheels, which are 245/40R19 8.5JX19, so you can rotate them. The 5.0 rears are 275/35R19 9.0JX19. The 3.8 wheels and tires are 245/45R18 8.0JX18. Check the Owner's Manual for the specs.
