It's great that everyone has an opinion and it's interesting to read about those opinions.
We are getting ready for a trip covering around 2500 km. my wife is not too comfortable with the tread on our 2011 2.0T premium Gen Coupe.
Stock " Potenza " tires with 42,000 km. still have a bit of tread left but I'd like to replace them before we leave.

Ask on a Gen Coupe forum " what's the best Summer tires for my car " and the answers will have you in a state of confusion quite quickly.

Certain tire review sites don't really help, one guy says a specific tire is the best he ever had on a car, the next guy says the same tire is garbage ??

Just do a search for tires and you’ll say “The hell with it we’ll take our chances with the stock tires with 42000 km on them.”
