  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Wondering if anyone has some good suggestions for a 20" tire that has a good combination of handling and comfort? So far the Hankook Ventus V12 look to be a good choice budget wise or the Continential ExtremeContact DW.

I can offer some insight as I have owned both. I have the Hankooks on our SUV and they have performed well through 8 months of use. Good handling and a good profile if styling is important.

I put a set of the Comtinentals on my Honda Accord a few months before I traded it for the Genny. The handling in the snow was like night and day from the Michellins that came on the car. I did not care for the side profile. They were sort of round on the sides, however I am certain this accounted for the improvement in handling.

Both are great tires to choose from.

Good luck!

I have the Conti DW's on mine, and really like them. Sticky, super quiet ride, and smooth ride. Look at the tread pattern and you'll understand why right away. So far, the most impressive tire I've ever had. I also have heard the Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole positions are a great tire as well. They come on the RSpec if the car has the "summer tire" option.

Thanks guys for the replies. As far as the winter aspect of the tire its irrelevant seeing im in SUNNY Florida. We get a month or so of sub 40 degree weather and thats about it for cold. I did notice the Continetials tread pattern resembles the Michelin Sports. Im most concerned about even wear and noise as I will be running a staggered setup which leaves me with only being able to rotate side to side.

I love my Michelin Pilot Super Sports. They are directional, however, so in a staggered setup you will have to remount to rotate.
