  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Went into settings and turned off the lane assist. It is like driving a new car. No more beeps, buzzers, or jerking on the steering wheel trying to get on my nerves.
It will never go back on as long as I own this car.

I tried it once or twice when I first got the car, just out of curiosity. Never used it since.
I would never fully trust it, and you have to hold the wheel anyway, so what's the point?

I’ll notify the press.

I kind of like it. My girlfriend (the car) tells me how to drive :giggle:

On the highway with cruise control on and being able to relax some and knowing the car will stay centered without my help, I love that feature. Works perfectly for me with my thumb on the wheel while resting across my lap. Just got back from a spring break ski trip in my wife’s CX9 and on back-woods New Mexico roads, I missed what my G70 can do with lane assist. Around town I keep the system completely off.
