  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

NBC reporter and fellow Genesis owner Tom Costello managed to sneak in yet another Genny plug on the Nightly News tonight (7/15). During a story on the old Crash Test Dummies PSA's we got a nice tight shot of Tom's car proudly featuring the Genesis Wing Badge on the hood.

Way to represent, Tom!

Just Flyn' the Flag!
Here in the DC area, seeing more and more Genesis on the streets every day.
Especially in the MD and VA suburbs.

Time to move to Portland...I've not seen any!!

1. They are a "Dime a Dozen" in Central Florida.

2. When in Western New York, I see very few. (Dealers tell me they only sell the V6.

3. When in Roswell, I don't see any. Spend a few weeks there every year, but none.

As for Central Florida, I'll tell you what I do see a lot of. 2011 Hyundai Sonata's. Tons of 2011 Sonata's. They are selling like "hot cakes" here. Will check out WNY and NM when I travel there within the next few months.

That's funny, since I don't see nearly as many Genesis or 2011 Sonatas in MD, as in No. VA.

Otoh, I do see the Genesis on a somewhat regular basis around NYC.

I was in South Florida recently, WOW I can't believe how many I see... I have seen 1 in my home state (MN) but a week in Florida I stop counting at 20. This was in the Palm Beach area.

I see one everyday.... oh wait that's mine

If you check dealer inventory in S. Fla, you find many dealers stocking around 20 or so; up North, you are lucky to find 4 or 5

Yes, there are a lot of Genesis sedans here in Palm Beach County. We have a few Coupes running around as well..

The dealership here says they sell everyone they get in, however I don't see any on the roads on a regular basis. I am surprised when I do see another Genesis. The new Sonata's are all over the place.

yeah theres tons down here. i see at least 1 every like 10 mins

I saw Tom Costello and his white Genesis yesterday (01/12/2011) after he was learning to drive in the snow on the Today Show...way to go Tom!

Add another Genny to the MD/DC/NoVA area!

I'm seeing more in San Diego. When I see one stopped at a light or in a gas station I pull up, roll down my window and ask "...Is that a Bentley?..."

several in Athens GA now. Sedans and coupes

If you want to be exclusive move up here to Canada. I see maybe 4-5 a year. Dealers have sometimes 1 and if you are lucky 2 on the lot. My dealer which is one of the biggest has none right now no matter what the model. Try to get an Rspec up here? They will find one for you most likely far away or in another province. Benz and BMW are a dime a dozen however. I have a place in FL and I concur, Genesis at why seems like every stop light. Kinda takes away the fun if you ask me as one of the nice things of ownership of this fine vehicle is exclusivity or rareness if you prefer.

You don't have to cross the border... I've seen only two other Genesis sedans in my town of approx. 150,000 people in the last two years.

Of course, you'll have to sell one of your kids to afford living here.

Connecticut...

Aw, c'mon. Having kids or having a sweet ride? What were you thinking? :D

Funny that before I bought mine North of Charlotte I saw very few then the day I bought it it seemed like I was given special glasses because I see one or two every day - special club glasses. When I see one I wave but my 12 YO son just shakes his head and says "They can't see you, Daaaaad. Tint? Ever heard of it?".

Since I bought a Genesis in 2009 in Minnesota, I've seen maybe 3 or 4 in 3 years. They are rare in the great white north. Everyone here wants AWD but Minnesotans are still the worst winter drivers.
