  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Genesis Model Type
2G Genesis Sedan (2015-2016)
Issue 1. Transmission acted up around 45k, Drivers side door Actuator had to be replaced at 61k, 1 headlight went out, Drive shaft kept making noise when driving btwn 30 and 40mph, Oil pressure sensor switch had to be fixed and now my Door blend Actuator needs to be fixed all these things and not even at 70k on the vehicle. Such a disappointment on such a beautiful car.

Sounds like not much changed with the 2016 model either. I'm the 2nd owner and have had the car a little over two years. Since owning it I've had the steering rack replaced around 50K miles under warranty (the steering would stick when turning and wouldn't return to center without pulling the steering wheel back to center). At just under 60K miles I had a clicking noise under the center console when the engine was cold when driving between 25-32mph, the dealership replaced the drive/propeller shaft under warranty. Now with just under 78K miles, it's back at the dealership to get the oil pressure sensor switch replaced at $1600. I really like the car, it just doesn't make up for the reliability issues so far.
