  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
What brand and model of tires does your Genesis have? What is tire pressure level (tested with a digital tire gauge) on all four tires?

I got my genesis brand new and the tires are original from factory, im not sure about the brand but its written on it (Hankook) and i didnt check my tires pressure for long time!! :)

I am assuming you purchased you Genesis outside of North America. Some Genesis models in North America come with noisy Dunlop tires. The ones with Michelin tires seem to have much less road noise.

You should check your tire inflation on a regular basis. The recommended tire pressure is in on a label in the drivers door jamb. Many cars are shipped to the dealer significantly over-inflated during transit, and are supposed to be adjusted by the dealer for delivery, but sometimes the dealer forgets to adjust them.

Yah my Genesis is from middle east models, its korean option, it has some extra options in it like front camera, power trunk n both front seats cooled.. Etc so shall i get new tires? Does urs have this brand of tires and is it quiet??? Actually mine is quite but still some noise is noticeable on bad roads. !! By the way thanx for help

Genesis sold in North America do not use Hanook tires, so I have no idea if they are quiet or noisy. You can check on http://www.tirerack.com/tires/surveyresults/index.jsp customer surveys to see if your tires are considered noisy.

Check your tire pressure to make sure they are not over-inflated.

First, how many miles are on the tires? All tires get noisier as the rubber wears off.

Second, mine has the OE Michelin Energys, and they are very quiet on smooth roads, but getting pretty loud on coarse surfaces with 13,000 miles. The thing about the Genesis is that there is virtually no wind noise, so the level of road noise is readily apparent.

Based on Tire Rack reviews, for quietness, I am considering the Bridgestone Turanza Serenity Plus and the Kumho Ecsta LX Platinum when I purchase new tires.
