  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I'm back; F11 came today and Annie and I went ahead and applied it to our G80. It is easy enough to do the sprayon and hand buff out with the Soft Microfiber clothes that come in the package. You get a pint size spray bottle and a 2 oz spray bottle of F11 plus two polishing clothes. All for $56.80 - Meguiars is cheaper but wouldn't be easier to apply. Waiting to see what the rain does to our shine.

We have a drive down to Harris Ranch coming up - we'll see what the weather does to the new shine.

Please let us know what you thought of the product. It does look amazing in the ads. Does it work on the windshield like the ads show it does? And how long does it hold up?

How old is your vehicle that you would need to wax it already?

I have not purchased a Genesis yet. I am just curious about how well the F11 works. I have see the commercials and of course they make it look great. My current car is 2.5 years old and gets waxed every 6 months. I am more interested in how it works on glass. I'm not a big believer in Rain-X as I believe it may etch your glass a little. (don't know where I got this and may be wrong.) But I have waxed my windshield and it works good but only holds up for a short time.

Basically, they all look good. There are onl;y two differences: Ease of application & How long do they last. Since they are all "Easy to apply" & "Last for a full year", what's the problem? ;>)

No Problem. I did not realize F11 would last for a full year.
Thanks.

Yes, it’s excellent. I recommend using their PolyWash, too.

F11 and similiar spray on products, with a few exceptions, are the bottom of the protection/shine products. Real Ceramics last multiple year products don't spray on and wipe off. But any product results are based on preparation, if your car has paint swirls and marring before, it will have paint swirls and marring that is shiny after application. Want product tests by a respected dude try Pan the Organizer on YouTube, And if you want a econo spray-on/wipe-off product the newest Turtle Wax Ceramic Spray is top of the line, not like a real product such as CarPro UK 3.0 or G Technique Crystal Lite but Top Product in the Spray & Wipe line. F11, and I tried it, Is the bottom of the barrel.

I agree that most "easy" spray on/wipe off products don't last very long, and you need to "correct" the paint (buff out swirls, etc.) before application of a more robust product like a ceramic coat. I've used "5 star shine" (multi-step product) which boasts a 5 year no wax guarantee, and it worked on my previous cars (and they were parked outdoors 24/7). My feeling is the new graphene coatings will exceed that produced by the 5 star shine product.

I read that the graphene products are amazing but dangerous to humans, skin and the environment.
