  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Torn on which to potentially purchase

At 71000 miles the car is due for some major service. So is the 2010 at 105,000. Check the prices for brake fluid flush, transmission fluid change, front brake pads?.

I just did a quick search and from what I can see, the trans fluid change would run 200-260ish, brake fluid around 100 or so, pads would just be the cost of parts. One of my buddy's manages a Quick Lube so I could probably get anything fluid/filter-related done relatively cheap versus regular market prices.

I appreciate the help thus far, I just didn't want to potentially go in blind on the car.

Ended up buying today! 2012 w/ tech package for $13.5k! Loving it so far!

Thanks everybody for the input and advise, looking forward to being a part of the community!
