In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. I have 1-2 rock chips caused paint dings on my 2011 GEnesis.
It is pearl white and I think I should get the chip fixed in time so that there is no rust issues and further paint damage. The size of the chip is small.

What do you guys advice should be the best route to get this done?

The local dealer here has referred me to a guy who comes to the dealership and fixes chips. I have not heard from that person yet.

thanks!

Same issue. Less than 1000 miles and 2 chips. I ordered touch up paint from the dealer. Perfect match and it comes in a felt pen like applicator. Worked beautifully. Had the same problems with my Acura. Had the dealer guy fix it. Terrible job. Let the paint run. Never again. Tried clear bra on my next car. Rocks found the places where there wasn't any clear bra and heavy rocks still chipped under the clear bra. Then it started peeling at 5000 miles. Never again. Also, I didn't get anything extra for having protected my car with clear bra upon trade-in.

Acceptance is the answer to all of my car cosmetic issues.

@Glashub - I do not have an issue with acceptance. But with the rock chip and given the fancy color and fancy car :), I was of the view that I should fix it while the chip is small.

So I should also order the paint through the dealer I suppose. Will do - assuming that they stock only one of these "fix" pens. Price - any idea?

Thanks for the advice!

Your call on the rock chips. Sound's like they're bigger than I thought. Price is around $10.

It is pretty small actually.
Just that the chip seems to have pulled out the color and is down to the clear coat.

i will order - was just concerned about spoiling it further vs being able to fix it :)

thanks again!

The color I got matched my platinum metallic genesis perfectly.
