  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Has anyone tried the Touch-Up Paint Pen from Hyundai?

I have a stone chip on the A pillar of my 2015 Genesis.

Was thinking of trying the pen from Hyundai, but I'm worried ill make it look worse.

Has anyone used the Casablanca White paint pen, and if so, what was the result?

I found it "too white", but it's better than a black spot or rust. Next time I'm going to try mixing the white and clear coat and applying it with the tip of a toothpick, something that was recommended elsewhere on line.

I have purchased touch up paint from www.automotivetouchup.com

They make it custom per the paint code on the car. It can take a couple of weeks to get it but the match is good. (I bought silver)

You order the pen or bottle?

I too have a few small chips now, with the upcoming road rallies I really need to invest in Xpel for the car. Let us know what you go with as I may pick some touch up paint to use in the meantime.

I got the pen from my local NC dealer, and I thought it worked pretty good on stone chips. I thought the black matched up pretty well.
