Touching up the pinstripe

I was wondering if anyone here has done any touch up on the pinstripes that run down the length of the car? Mine are faded and look terrible. If anyone has any experience, did you DIY or take it somewhere to get it done? If the former, what did you use and if the latter, how much did it cost?

Pin stripes are a dealer added accessory. They are most likely tape from the local auto supply store.

In the old days, pin striping was an art done with real paint and a brush with very long bristles. Some very elegant designs were often done.

A shop that does detailing may be your best bet unless you want to peel the tape yourself .
You can buy tape in many places

Pinstriping is very straightforward. Just ask your dealer for a recommended installer. Such installers visit dealers weekly and perform this work, in addition to many other interior and exterior repairs on vehicles on auto dealer lots. They travel from dealer to dealer performing their craft. You’ll often spot them in their roving vans on the dealer lots. They love to pick up extra work from the general public as they are working for the auto dealers.
