  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

TPMS are give me a hard time

This is an old thread but for those doing a search. I replaced my 2012 sedan with schraeder tpms sensors in 2024 while getting new tires. The car would not recognize the sensors and the TPMs light would come on after a relearn. Bought Hyundai sensors and had them installed. No more light. Get the 52933-02f000 sensors for sedan. 52933-02m000 are for the coupes. Don’t be fooled by some parts website. Check with the dealer for the correct part number.

I had this issue in 2022 so I ordered the sensors from a Hyundai dealer and after 2 months I contacted them and they said they no longer manufactured the sensors so they refunded my money. I was also told that only the dealer has the scanner that "talks" to the TPMS module.

I took the sensors to discount tire. They installed them and relearned the car thru the obdii port. Ask them for the part number and do a search online for Hyundai brand sensors. That’s what I did Feb 2024.

I purchased a set from a local shop who said "these will work" (Schrader brand) and they didn't so they refunded me all the money I spent. I will purchase the sensors you mentioned. Thank you.
