If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I purchased these on eBay last spring as the part number matched the ones used for the 2015 Genesis. http://www.ebay.com/itm/TPMS-Sensor...ash=item25a9eb339a:g:5kkAAOSwyQtVpnji&vxp=mtr Even though they do not list the Genesis as being compatible in the drop down menu, I can assure you these are the real ticket. I installed my winters today and after about 5 miles or less of driving, all four wheels indicated pressure on my dash. :) Bottom line is the original sensors are self linking after driving a bit. If you need sensors, google search "52933-3N100"

So no need to be programmed?

Sweet I bought mine a few months ago from eBay $25 each. I just installed my winter wheels but I wont be driving my car until tomorrow.

I am in NW PA and have just purchased a '16 3.8 AWD. Since we travel a lot in the Northeast during the winter, I'd like to get four snows w/wheels. Just wondering what wheels and snow tires you're using? Secondly, has anyone installed wheels w/o tpms sensors? The snows on my '09 lacked tpms' and aside from an orange warning light on the dash, all was fine. For example, do the G2 models have an chimes or gongs paired with the tpms warning light? If not, I could survive w/o the sensors and their attendant cost.

I must be OCD, because that orange warning light would drive me nuts :D. I can't even stand it when the low-fuel light turns on.

You have quite a few options when it comes to wheels as they are pretty much a standard size. Look at any auto tire store or tire rack and they can find several. The V8 is another best, especially in Canada where we get AWD. On any AWD they need to be the same diameter and with staggered wheels this becomes an issue. I had exactly 1 choice of winter tires, nothing more. I was fortunate enough to find a used set of original staggered wheels for winter use. Hyundai dealer here in Canada wanted around $4500 just for the staggered wheels.

Is anyone using second-hand 18" OEM wheels from the G1 series? I assuming they are the same offset and bolt pattern will clear the front calipers. Hate to buy brand new alloys just to coat them with salt and slush during the winter months.

Hi, everyone here!

I bought the four winter tires with 18" aluminum rims with tpms two weeks ago.
this purchasing costs me around $2200 CAD(includes tax).

I have listed my configuration below for your reference.

-Tire : Michelin X-ice XI3 245/45R18 100H XL ( 4 pcs )
-Rim : Fast wheel Samba 18x8.0 5x114.3mm +35 67.1mm SIL
Part #F185-1880-65SN+35C671 / FA26636 ( 4 pcs )
-TPMS : WURTH ( 4 pcs )
-Installed by Tires 23 Inc. Mississauga, On, Canada

They cloned the original tpms to WURTH tpms with special scanner....it was cool to see !
The sensors work perfect.....

Tomorrow, I will post the photo of my winter tires...

Cheers!

mine :)

Wheels and tires look very nice.

I do love my V8 but the v6 is equally as good. I should have saved my $$$ as I believe I would have been just as happy with the 6.

My pic is hosted on photobucket so dunno if you can link yours if its attachment.

Also since your got michilens be sure to send in your rebate if they didn't do it for you yet. Think you can get $75 back
