  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

If you inflate all four of your tires to the proper pressure, do you still have the tpms warning? It looks like you're a bit low all around

Yea i know i have to fill it up its that low whe tires are cold and will go up to 31-32 during the day when i drive around and i never got light until this morning. Samw tire pressure as yesterday and few weeks ago

I believe the rear tire pressure on the 5.0 is 35psi, so if the sensor gives a warning maybe it's at 20% below that value? If you drop below 28 then you're more than 20% below recommended psi. So possibly that sensor is 27.x and you see it rounded up to 28 on the display? Not sure when the Genesis throws the warning, but on my old car it was at 20% below recommended psi.

On my 5.0 the door sticker says 35 psi for the front and 38 psi for the rear (cold of course) When it left the dealer lot they were at 31 and I had one rear tire that soon after showed a low pressure warning just like yours. I filled them up to spec and no problems after that.

The next time the dealer had the car they filled them all up to 41 (cold) ?????

Mine is a 2018, so I don't know if that applies to other models.

Oh ok i have the 3.8 awd

On my 2015 5.0, door sticker front is 33, rear 35. Looks like it varies based on year. My guess is the tpms warning may be programmed to go off when your not within 20% or so of whatever is indicated on your vehicle.

It is 20%. The warning went off when my fronts went below 27.
