  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi All,

I just traded my 2017.5 Nissan Maxima for a 2023 G70 3.3 prestige. I am so far IN LOVE with the car. It is worlds away from my Nissan but costs only $8k more than a brand-new Maxima... Honestly this is wild for me. The value from this car is amazing so far. I have already put 600+ miles on it since last Friday. I want to literally drive it everywhere.

If I had to bring up any concerns, it would be that my steering wheel doesn't seem like its straight. I took it in to ensure the alignment was correct and they told me it is perfectly fine. Not sure why it doest seem straight. but either way this car is amazing.

Yeah, a 3.3 G70 is wicked fast, and the level of refinement is way above the Maxima. Welcome to the Genesis family. Aligning the steering wheel is a minor thing, independent of the alignment of the wheels relative to each other. Any alignment shop can do it quickly.

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Congratulations on your brand new Genesis G70! Nice upgrade from the Nissan Maxima, which I have also always liked... I'm glad you found us! :)

If you saying the car does not track straight when the steering wheel is centered, dealer should be able to center the steering wheel and put a holding device to hold it centered while they readjust the wheels to track in a straight line via an alignment machine. Surprised this left the factory honked up but guess that can happen. Should not take long for an alignment guy to dial that in for you.
