A former Genesis owner was kind enough to provide me with a trailer hitch and wiring harness back in 2016, after he traded out of his car. It's time to pay this forward, as I've parted ways with mine. It fits the 1G model and includes the hitch, harness, drawbar, ball, all the hardware to mount it up.The folks at etrailer have excellent videos online to help in mounting the hitch yourself, or you can have it installed by the shop of your choice.
Only catch... you have to come get it. It's obviously too bulky to pack and ship, so I won't do this. I'm in Charlotte and can meet an interested party within a reasonable distance and hand it off.
Parted ways with my Genesis due to transmission problems. I really, really loved the car, made several cross country, Canada, and Mexico trips in it, and planned on keeping it. But, after 80K miles, my "bulletproof" ZF transmission turned out to be not so bulletproof. Estimates to R&R the tranny were too costly and when the overall value of the car was considered, it was time to move on. These cars can become scary expensive to fix out of warranty (mine was), but what vehicle isn't these days?
Anyone interested, let me know.
